In this class, I had to show my photography skills and progress over the 12 weeks that I have been in photography. This class has shown me how to be patient and calm, but also fun at the same time because I got to take any picture with who I wanted and what subject I wanted. Beginning of the year End of the year At the beginning of the year when I first walked into the class I was a little scared and didn't really know what to expect in this class. I new people in the class but really never like hung out with them before. I was happy that we got to choose are seats but then as soon as we got assigned seats I was a little worried. The class started up and everything was fine.
The first time I got a camera in my hand was really cool. I learned what all the buttons did and how to use the camera in a way where I could take really nice, clean photos. I started shooting with a camera and I thought it was so cool how the camera worked but I kinda got boring taking pictures over and over again. I liked the units that we did where we had to take pictures of a certain subject because we could experiment a little. This class was a lot of fun because we had so much freedom and we could do wha we want on are time because we had a time to turn it in.

In this assignment I had to take 40 to 50 photos and choose the best one that we took and 5 others that I thought were good.. My subject is Still life. Iso= 800 Aperture= f/8.0 Shutter Speed= 1/8 Edit= Black and White This is my last assignment and I am proud that I made it this far without quitting because taking picture takes patience and I don't have a lot of that. This assignment has shown me that you can have a good picture as long as you try and take a nice picture.
In this assignment we had to take pictures using a light letup and we also had to use a sheet of white paper to reflect the light onto someones face. We had to mess with the lighting to get rid of shadows so we can find the natural face. I learned that the lighting in every picture is very important because the light is the source that makes your pictures come out so clean. How the person is positioned is very important too because you want to have that natural look to your face and have he light shinning on your whole face so you can see no shadows.
In this assignment we had to take multiple pictures of a subject and turn them into black and white. We had to get different angles of are subject to make it a better photo. ISO= 80 Aperture= f/2.8 Shutter Speed= 1/60 -Edited photo into black and white I learned from this assignment that you have to take quality pictures and have to be in focus when taking a picture. There has to be enough light a nice Aperture and Shutter speed.
In this assignment we had to attempt certain assignment that we had to pick out to make in photoshop. We had to test are skills to try and make something cool. https://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/3d/ https://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/place-image-inside-shape-photoshop/ I learned that it takes hard work and you have to have a positive mindset with patience to get through multiple assignments.
In this assignment I had to take multiple pictures of landscape and open spaces to get a good picture. Iso= 100 Shutter Speed= 1/60 Aperture= f/8.0 I learned that you have to have the right settings when it is a cold, rainy day because there is so much that has to be done when taking a picture.
In this assignment we had to take multiple pictures of ourselves or someone and turn it into on photo. I learned that i really like to do this kind of work with the camera because it gives you more to do on photoshop and to see what it looks like after everything is done is super cool.
For this assignment we had to take 50 photos of one subject and mess around with lighting and distance. Iso=800 Shutter Speed=1/400 Aperture= f/5.6 I learned in this assignment that the light is everything because it an show the whole persons face and it is a really good thing to have all expressions in a photo.
For this assignment we had to take a picture of the school and use photoshop to add things into the photo. We could make it however we wanted to make it. I learned how to properly use the erase tool and how to use the magic wand tool. We had so much opportunity to do whatever we wanted and thats why I love using Photoshop because you have so many options. We used Cropping and pasting a lot in this assignment.
